...and yet, so, so satisfied.


I just watched the most incredible film....I think that I have ever seen....

...and I know it will never be topped...

Fuck. I was watching something unravel before my eyes, and I knew even as it was happening, that "This is it. This is as good as it gets."

I've never come away from something completely satisfied. Never have I come away from something where I could not nit-pick or say, "ooh, I wonder what's next?". Until now.

I don't want a next. This is the apex. The top. Of what? I don't know. But it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It can't be beat.


I should have been cheering at the end after seeing such an...epic. But, knowing that it can't be topped(and let's get serious, when you watch this film, you will know what I'm talking about), I am somehow left with a sense of...emptiness. Where do they go from here?



And with that, I feel ashamed that I could not properly put my....fondness for the film I just witnessed into words.




Whatever.

Just go see 'The Dark Knight'.
